Help Our Cause

Your contribution will help us provide financial assistance to organizations who offer free mammogram screening for uninsured patients, breast cancer treatment, wellness and education programs, transportation services, and financial support for survivors who struggle to pay their personal financial obligations.

Our Missiom

Giving With Purpose

We donate to pay for 3D mammograms for patients who are uninsured or underinsured in underserved communities in Washington, DC. We also want to help survivors who struggle to pay household finances while they are paying the high cost of prescribed medication. Our annual fashion event is important because we must educate women under 50, in particular, of the importance of early detection because the death rate of women in this demographic has continued to rise and Breast Cancer is the second leading cause of death in women next to lung cancer.

Our Community Outreach

Our team attends and volunteers at community events that promote the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness, early detection, and annual mammogram screening. We bring our fun sewing activities to these events every year.

Our Survivor Appreciation Brunch

We host appreciation events for friends and family of our annual fashion event.  It is important for us to keep in touch with the survivors who have participated in our events.  A sisterhood has evolved from their involvement with the annual fashion event.

Wegman's - Woodmore Town Center

  • Wegmans raises the bar on the shopping experience: the best quality, a spectacular abundance of choice, restaurant-quality prepared foods, beautiful stores and displays, and a nearly telepathic level of customer service.

    Meet the Founder

    The Rebirth of Style "T.R.O.S."

The "Runway for a Cure DC" Fashion Show is partnering with the 16th Annual Official Pink & White Affair again this year to bring a fashion showcase to the affair

Our mission is to celebrate Breast Cancer Survivors, encourage family and friends of those affected by Breast Cancer, and to give back to individuals or organizations who support Breast Cancer Research, Awareness, and Survivors!

My father passed away from complications due to his prostate cancer treatment.  My mother selected one of the best family health insurance plans, before her retirement, which removed any financial stress from our family during my father's treatment. This made it easy for us to focus on his treatment and care (instead of medical bills).

So many cancer patients don't have adequate health insurance coverage and it is difficult to pay for the medications, reconstructive surgeries, and even  everyday expenses.

We want to help make a difference in the lives of those who need screening, education, treatment, transportation, or just help with their monthly bills.
